This is a simple design for a hanging file cabinet. This design was inspired by a co-worker of mine that was tired of the flimsy metal cabinets that like to tip. The back of the cabinet is large enough to allow for an extra weight to be added to ensure it will not flip forward. To be pictured later is a design for the back of the cabinet with a removable weight.

Modular Book Shelf
This design was inspired by my brother. He wanted a book shelf the could be stackable and that could be taken apart for transport in such a way as to allow for the owner to keep the books in the shelf for transport. The foot and top of the shelf are built separate of the individual shelves themselves. This design includes a key "I" notch on the top and bottom of both sides to allow a "key" to be made that can lock the shelf together to prohibit the shelves from trying to come apart.

The grandparents' book nook and toy cabinet
Here is my first design for my parents book nook and toy cabinet. This cabinet is designed to fit under a built-in wall shelf that extends out about 10" from the wall and is about 3' off the floor. The cabinet is designed to the custom dimensions given to me. This cabinet will contain space for kids' books and toys. The top will be used as an additional serving location for food. This image was created using Google - Sketchup.
Update: Pix of Cabinet Top (2 - 1"x8"x54" and 11- 1"x6"X6.5" -split and joined together - in the middle)
