After working several weekends and week nights on this project, I can finally say it is finished. Of course saying it is finished only means I quit.. of course there is minor things that can still be done, but I will save those for the delivery day and confirm shelf setting and the such.
I wanted to post some pics of the completed project and then give a few "behind the scenes" shot to show how it was done.

Here is a picture of the back side of the sunk-in panel door. You can see the pocket holes are plugged. This door is a 1" x 2" (3/4" x 2" actual) frame with 1/4 inch BC plywood as the inner panel.
Here is a picture of the bottom side of one of the shelves. This shelf is made with with a simple face frame that is made from 1/2" x 2" braces connected to a grooved 3/4" x 2" runner running the length of the shelf. This shelf has a 1/4" panel overlay to the inside.
